JETS TRADE STANTON

Just announced the Jets traded QB Drew Stanton to Indy. I wish him the best.
Boy has Indy seemed like the middle of the football universe this year. Between Manning's injury, hosting the Super Bowl, tracking of Manning's new destination, him going to Denver, Tebow coming to the Jets and now trading their back up to the Colts.
Forget Hawaii, Indy is da place!

Well, if anything, the Jets got back in the 6th round. Now it's like they got Tebow for just a #4.

All good work out well Jets got back a 6th Rd plus they have two 7th Rd's picks now.

Well, if anything, the Jets got back in the 6th round. Now it's like they got Tebow for just a #4.
The Jets gave away the 7th round pick they got for Tebow too though, plus another 500 grand that they paid Stanton as a signing bonus is gone, and of course Stanton.
So the Tebow trade amounts to the Jets trading Stanton, a 4th round pick, the 7th round pick they got from Denver, and 3 million dollars (2.5 to the Broncos, .5 to Stanton).
IDK, maybe it's just me, but that's a steep price for a QB, who so far is Brad Smith minus his ability to return punts / kick offs.

No, the Jets traded that 7th round pick they got from Denver in the Stanton deal.
