Browns DE Desmond Bryant (reserve/NFI list) underwent a cardiac ablation for an irregular heartbeat on Friday.
Bryant is out indefinitely. Per the Mayo Clinic's website, cardiac ablation "works by scarring or destroying tissue in your heart that triggers an abnormal heart rhythm." We're guessing Bryant won't play again this year. If not, he will finish 2013 with 31 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He's been an elite run defender.
