Yup. There is already a name for it. "The Tuuka Tumble" Embarrassing. We don't need to be giving NY any gawd damn freaking GIFTS. Hopefully, that is not NY's "Dave Roberts" moment. (stole 2nd base in '04 which began the turnaround to You-Know Who winning 4 straight over You-Know-Who after being down 0-3.). Rather, it will not become as famous, and will be nothing more than a footnote in less than 48 hours.

Have to feel for Sanchez. The Buttfumble will be on his resume/history forever.
In his defense, (even amongst Jet fans), I saw the play a zillion times................and
Vincent Woolfork pushed Brandon Moore into the backfield and Sanchez didn't have a chance!
Could have happened to a Brady or a Rodgers.
He is a hard worker despite his results, sad; he is a nice guy too.

I agree. He's just gong to have to have a thick skin going forward. Hey, as far as one play going down in infamy, you could draw a comparison between the Butt Fumble, and this play which is seared into my memory banks from the World Series 27 years ago:

I just watched it myself after not having seen it in decades. Painful. Still truly painful. Shocked

If he makes that routine play, The Curse would have been only 68 years. Instead, you reverse the 6 and the 8 and you get 86, because the Curse ended after 86 yeas. So that one play, that one error, cost the RS the World Series and turned what should have been a 68 year old curse into an 86 year old one. How 'bout that? I don't think any writer has ever pointed out that weird historical twist of fate. "Through the legs, and whoosh, 68 became 86." I give myself props for coming up with that.
