A great team and a great competitor. That offensive line of that time was even more physical than the 49er line of today. When you can go out and chew up 150-200 yards rushing almost every Sunday without an AP or a Kaepernick it says something about blocking.

Jimmy Taylor gives all of his success to his offensive line. Starr thinks Skoronski should be in the Hall of Fame. Most others have the same to say about Kramer. Some have said that Thurston was a better player than Kramer. And finally........and most importantly.........it has been stated that Gillingham was the best EVER. Go ask Lee Remmel. GO PACKERs
