Ringo Missing

An APB was issued by police in Green Bay prior to game time Sunday.

Ringo did not respond to wake up calls at 9 and 10 AM and was no where to be seen. Fans noticed he was not around at the Tundra Tailgate within the last 2 hours before kick off, a locale always frequented by the legend on gameday mornings.

Ringo was last seen at the Stadium Inn around 8 PM CDT on Saturday evening still standing after having consumed mass quantities of Effen since approximately 3 PM in the afternoon.

He left a message for me on my cell phone last night.... told me he was going me meet you, Milani. I called him back this morning before game time but likewise got bumped to voicemail. Hope he's okay.

He's probably in Fuzzy's bar doing a duet of Blue Moon with the Fuzzmeister while Packerchick rolls her eyes and looks on disdainfully.

Did you call over to St. Vincent's? Just reviewing the police log and it reflects a dispatch at 2:12am early Sunday morning to Fuzzy's Bar reporting an intoxicated man in distress with an apparent tracheotomy device lodged in his rectum. I'm suspecting that Ringo was bent over and wowing the crowd again on Karaoke night with his unique back-door rendition of Moon River on Fuzzy's voice box and some baaaaaaad fucking karma decided to come pay a visit on his ass... Laughing

Fortunately, he was still standing when I met him briefly. He was sharing pigskin tales with some Cardinal fans before he disappeared. The man has Effen in his veins. That is for sure. He had been to Andruzzi's first. He mentioned that he was going to avoid Fuzzy's for some reason. At least I know he had a designated driver. Whether he ever made it back to Appleton that night we may never know. I left him to go see this Doo Wop group singing at the Oneida Casino Saturday night.

And here's a coincidence for you... Ringo's hospital has brought in a specialist surgeon from Minnesota to remove the device. He's performed many such operations in the gay community in Minneapolis and once even successfully removed an entire hammer from a man's rectum. The medical community was highly impressed and he was written up in several prestigious national journals.

I saw what he did, whipping up the crowd in my Oakland sports bar. He could have created a riot in the Lambeau parking lot or stadium. And that would be on you for not being his chaperone. Tsk tsk...

What's the matter, Milani? You got a problem with bars that look like dives? Or was it the empty parking lot in front of it covered with broken glass? Heck, that was the site of an impromptu tailgate for a couple dozen Packer fans before the 2011 NFC Championship game. Ringo was in attendance. The inside of the bar isn't fancy, but there's nine TV screens, ample seating, and the alcohol flows cheaply and freely. And, yes, they have lots of Effen. Would you rather pay three times that amount and be serenaded by a lecherous old jock with a voice box?

Now would be a good time for JnC to remind us what a scary dangerous place Oakland is. Very Happy

Sorry, Duck. I actually have relatives in Oakland. Maybe I'll see them before I go to the frozen tundra in the sky. If Ringo has been there I better show my respect.

Alright you guys........what REALLY happened was my co-Packer mates who had the car decided enough was enough. So I had no choice .... it turned out OK as there as a walking distance bar next to hotel which I was able to complete the night and actually be fully C&O (HD....that is short for cognizant and operative).......both before and after a power dump , a shower, Post Raisin Bran and a toasted bagel. As far as the lack of telephone connectivity goes while at the Tundra Tailgate Zone tent before the APB was sent out (sorry about that Milani).........the phone was in the SUV.........didn't have it with me at the time. Yes.......Fuzzy's was avoided as was Curly's and Titletown Brewing. The old boys are slowing down I guess. If I had a hotel in Green Bay it would have been different (TAXI-CAB). We had plenty of Spotted Cow and a good time was had by all. Ate a late lunch on Saturday at the sports bar in the hotel next to Vince Lombardi's restaurant.......that was where the first Spotted Cow flowed prior to trekking to Titletown to get the parking pass and visit a few venues (Anduzzi's and Stadium View). The rest is left to the imagination. No EFFEN was consumed the entire trip. For the record on Sunday after breakfast..........two cheeseburgers, one brat........2 bottles of water...........and 2 cups of hot black coffee. Was a perfect day for football in Titletown. THIS IS THE NFL and with Walt Coleman as the referee..........it felt like 1995..
