Brandon Weeden shows Cleveland Brown's his cannon arm...
So I'm reading NFL.com and I find this article about Brandon Weeden, Cleveland's quarterback and his cannon arm and there he is throwing short check downs and handing the ball off and it makes me wonder-why didn't they show at least him throwing deep downfield? If you get a chance go over and watch the video at NFL.com. Here's the link...

They figure he only has so many long throws left in his 65 year old arm, so they are taking it slow.

Cleveland being so critical to the NFL alignment they are allowing him to play with his walker.

Is it true that they get an AARP discount on his contract?tjust1 wrote:RLON39 wrote:They figure he only has so many long throws left in his 65 year old arm, so they are taking it slow.

May as well because by the time all the other QB's that were drafted in the 2012 draft are hitting their prime Weeden will be calling a press conference to announce his retierment, he should have never been picked 22nd overall, not when their were WR's and O-Linemen that were better and then they went and drafted a DT from Cincy in the 3rd round John Hughes that woudld still have been around in the 6th,7th or even available for the picking as a free agent, sure I like Weeden but no way at 22 in round 1, did it make the Browns better, yes, do they still need a QB AND A WR next year, HELL YES, if they would have drafted a WR late in round 1 or even with their first pick in rond 2 they wouldnt have needed another one early next year, they could have got that WR and O-Lineman and eliminated those two spots in 2013 and went after that QB in 13, but now they need both those spots to fill, Oh Boy what a draft!!! I cant wait to see the Punt/KR they drafted from Miami that is nothing more then a 3rd WR next year, especially since they still have Cribbs that does that same thing, LMAO until I am in tears.

The Browns could have had DeCastro playing on the same line as Thomas...that would have even more sense given that they drafted Richardson to be an every down back.
