Not unlike a certain AFCE QB I could name.

Michael Vick?

Yea. That's who I meant.

Anything in the single digits is good in my book.

I usually crush the par 5's.

I used to. Second shots are too long for me now.

Long par 3's is what gives me problems and can ruin a side.l

There's one at the course I play now that plays 239. When I was a kid I could stop a ball on that. Elderly gent that I am now, hit it in front and try to chip it close.

You're not officially old and weak until you carry a 7 wood.

LMAO.   Very true.

I'm NOT going to become one of those guys.  I can't let that happen.  It won't happen.

(I say that now, but wait until my buddies start bragging about their cool new 7 woods, then I'll probably sing a different tune.  But that's going to be a truly sad day for me when/if it comes.  lol)

This same guy here with this textbook form played alongside Michael Jordan on the greatest basketball team ever assembled, the Gold Medal winning USA Dream Team.

I was talking to my sister in law last and surprise, my brother was off on yet another golf trip, who was he playing in a foursome with, yep, Michael Jordan.  I think she said they were in West Palm Beach.

To go to a football game in Massachusetts in November.
What the hell is wrong with me?

Reading this weeks later.  Hope you had a great time!

BTW, I got very few details on your trip to Foxboro.  Just wondering if while you were there you toured "The Hall", or checked out the Pro Shop and got yourself a jersey, a hat, a calendar, a coffee mug, a DVD, or a grey hoodie with instructions of where to cut the sleeves off?  At least something to bring back home?

I did buy some stuff to bring home, but I'm just going to mail it back out to some miscreant friends and relatives. I would have gone to the Hall, but the RV parking, where he parks anyway, is across the street. Kind of a haul.
Years ago I went to a Hall up there at the Boston Garden. NE HOF or something. I remember they had these extremely cool wooden statues of Bird and Bobby Orr. Old Garden so it was a while ago.

I didn't mean to.  lol.   I mean, I know some girls who are regular golfers, and THEY all carry 7 woods instead of 3 and 4 irons. Very Happy

Just by mentioning the "Old Garden" you made me feel nostalgic.

Hot.  Poor ventilation.  Beer and stickiness on the floor.  Overcrowded men's rooms.  People sitting in the aisles, then told to move on, then back to sitting the aisles.  People yelling at refs.  Poor sight lines for a lot of seats.

But most of all, drama being played out.

It was awesome.
