Apparently he didn't learn well from his mentor, Eugene Robinson. He should have just hired a hooker.

Rape is the easiest thing in the world to claim and generally the hardest thing in the world to prove...and therein lies the problem. It all centers on consent and whether it was a mutually volitional act. The problem is--because it is so easy to claim and brings forth the damage just making the claim delivers, there are lots of low-life women out there who leverage that into extorting/manipulating the threat of the claim into serving their own scumbag needs. Look at the responses here for example. Other than MB--everyone reflects a bias to Sharper being guilty just because the claim was made. In my opinion--that's just wrong.
By the other side of the same token, there are sick, low-life, pathetic fucks out there who actually do the deed--undoubtedly with the expectation of getting away with it-- simply because it is so hard to prove--as undoubtedly they often do. I don't believe in the institution of the death penalty generally because I believe you can't take something that can't be returned (someone's life) if there is even the slightest chance the individual is innocent. So, until any margin or error is eliminated from the process of determining guilt/innocence, I could never support it--as it would amount to state-sponsored murder in certain cases. However, I will say this--I think I know myself well enough to say that, on an individual basis, it would be very, very difficult for me not to go Charles Bronson on any sick fucking animal who did this to someone important to me. I'd spend the rest of my life in prison without a moment's hesitation gladly in exchange. I can't think of any greater violation.

My post reflected no bias towards his guilt. If you perceived it that way -that's on you, amigo.
I have ZERO idea if he is guilty or innocent. However, it is worth noting that he is charged in two separate incidents; the first from October 2013 and the second in January of this year.
This FACT does not work in his favor. Furthermore, presentation of FACTS does not indicate a bias.
Deliberately ignoring them on the other hand...

Now I read that New Orleans police are investigating a claim against Sharper.
Don't know if there is 1 in LA and 1 in NO or 2 in LA and 1 in NO.
That bum was responsible for two of the most infamous plays in Packers history
1 - The TO catch with 8 seconds left in the Jan 1999 Playoff loss to SF, Holmgren's last game
2 - 4th & 26, along with that other big-mouth, Nick Barnett, let Fred-X (Freddie Mitchell get between them) for that play. We lost that game to because of that.

I have never understood the criminal mind........I guess one would have to study criminology/psychology/sociology to understand why men do these things to women. Anyone know this stuff?

Sharper was probably amongst my least favorite "good" Packers, but I don't see what any of this brings to bear on this topic.

No--I didn't perceive it that way. You merely stated that he had been arrested from what I saw...
