Milani's Acme Packers Game Plan
OK Milani, so what's the game plan for next Sunday? The late start must surely mean that you will be stopping by St Willy's to help celebrate the 150th Anniversary, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ............ and maybe even clean up your act from lately You really need to get that prancer-lady out of your psyche.........yes you do.
What do others on this board think Milani's game plan should be? Krolls for chili and Spotted Cow?, Titletown Brewing for microbrew? Stadium Club for Spotted Cow. Curly's Pub for Spotted Cow. Champions for Spotted Cow? Anduzzi's for Spotted Cow? Sidelines for Spotted Cow?

Ringo--What's the best breakfast/brunch place in/around Green Bay? It doesn't have to be anything fancy--just looking for damn good food and a tasty Bloody preferably off the beaten path. Obviously no chain places... There was a place Ron Wolf would always talk about--Dottie's? Can't recall...RingoCStarrQB wrote:OK Milani, so what's the game plan for next Sunday? I don't know about breakfast, but these are some good choices (yes, even in Green Acres Green Bay):_HD_ wrote:Ringo--What's the best breakfast/brunch place in/around Green Bay? There's a place that's is a local downtown Green Bay greasy-spoon institution that's been around forever called "Al's Hamburger Shop" --though what it's really known for is its breakfast, specifically, its hash.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
For dinner, the owner of Chives, has a new, nice, upscale place I liked called [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] --I'd make a reservation for it if you want to go.

Re: Milani's Acme Packers Game Plan
Holy shit! How the fuck does Al turn a nut charging these prices? It costs me more to drag my ass out of bed in the morning and scratch my balls than that fucker charges for an omelete.JnC4GB wrote:There's a place that's is a local downtown Green Bay greasy-spoon institution that's been around forever called "Al's Hamburger Shop" --though what it's really known for is its breakfast, specifically, its hash.

Fess up, JnC... this menu is 20 years old. Two eggs and steak for $7.00?? You're shitting me.
Plus, only 5.5% sales tax in Wisconsin? Damn, the cost of living in California is higher than I thought.

Re: Milani's Acme Packers Game Plan
Got it off their Facebook page.
Look at it this way...would they charge $1.50 for a donut 20 years ago?
There's a place here in town that's has "all you can eat bacon" Tuesdays. Buy a $2 can of PBR and all you can eat bacon!
You really should try to get out of the Bay Area once in a while bro...

Re: Milani's Acme Packers Game Plan
Thanks. There's a place called The Mint in Frisco, CO not far from Breckenridge and Vail up in the mountains that's kind of a must stop if you like the cook your own concept. It's gotta be one of the very original cook your own type places in the country (est 1863) and in the original wild west building. Fun place to go with a group of friends and chill by the grill with a couple of cocktails as you put some sizzle on your steak. Done just the way you like it every time!AJBest wrote:[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Definitely have to find some Brown fans at Stadium Club. Head over to the Oneida Casino to keep the old lady occupied. Walk down Holmgren Way so I can croon a few bars of " The Bears Still Suck" with the faithful. And then....Prance..Prance..Prance!RingoCStarrQB wrote:OK Milani, so what's the game plan for next Sunday? Re: Milani's Acme Packers Game Plan
HD.........your breakfast question..........honestly I have no answer because the only breakfasts I have had that I can recall have either been at the hotel I stayed at, or once I recall having breakfast at Perkins in Neenah. A long time ago I had the brunch buffet at the Best Western.....not sure if that is an option any more. So maybe Al's is the place. There is another joint I found (you may want to call ahead) that is walking distance to Lambeau Field called Skip's Diner [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but I doubt they have Bloody Mary's (looks a bit on the beat/needs a facelift side). I Googled 'breakfast near Lambeau Field' and nothing jumped out. I really don't eat much of a breakfast before Packers games.........mainly just jump in to the beer and sausages fray after Saturday night's escapade.

Ooooohhh, I'll have to try Bleu, JnC. I have heard good reviews about it. I do think HD should go with the Wellington, though--he'll love the red velvet cheesecake.
