When veteran pitcher Roger Craig lost 20 games as a Met, someone said he had to be good enough to play in 20 losses.
Imagine the Bills getting to the Super Bowl 4 times. They lost the 4 under Kelly and Marv Levy, but to get to the playoffs, knock everyone off to be one of the two last standing is an accomplishment.

I'm not sure how much enthusiasm he has left. I think he doesn't want to quit with that Baltimore game being the last game of his career. I think the exact thing about Manning btw.
As for courage; the fact that he could go to OTAs, look around the huddle, and not retire on the spot is more than courageous, it's GD heroic!

So I take it you feel that the Pats have such a weak roster that they probably won't even win the AFCE this year? Why the doom and gloom? Just as every year, there is a lot of turnover on this roster, so we really don't know what to expect. I'm hopeful that LeGerrette Blount (6'0", 247 lbs.) can be the punishing downhill runner they haven't had since Corey Dillon. He's only 26.
