GENO SMITH...PROBLEM CHILD?
Been reading about some issues with Geno Smith coming to the front.
I understand when he went to the Jets facility, he was too busy with his cell phone talking and texting instead of familiarizing himself with the coaching staff and the place itself.
Uh oh, wrong time, and wrong place for that.
I can see already he is not a "Manning-type preparer".
A quarterback gets the most accolades, and as we witnessed, can catch the most wrath.
Starting with this month's OTAs, practices, etc., I think he should put away his cell phone, this isn't Wheeling, W.Va.

So very true. Cell phone etiquette has gone out the window with smarts and common sense. @@

Re: GENO SMITH...PROBLEM CHILD?
After reading more about Geno on Jet Nation, it seems it's not all on Geno.
I read his former agents were not choir boys.
He is in the NFL for 5 days, and the media wants to perpetuate a "circus" attached to the Jets.
When Geno Smith was on Gruden's ego-driven show, he was respectful, bright, and even charming.
Bottom line...He needs to show his wares on the field and shut the media, and Jets haters up.

GENO SMITH
Yeah, Geno smith is going to end up being more trouble then he is worth, especially since he is no better then a backup, it will really start if he dont get the starting job.

Did anyone including yourself think Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers were no better than a back up?
Need some more names? Psst....the draft is a crap shoot.

I actually liked Rodgers coming out of California, and like EVERYONE else never gave a thought about Brady, and sure the draft is a crap shoot but I still say Geno Smith is a backup QB just like Sanchez and I said the same thing about him coming out of the University of Spoiled Children.

Nice pic, reminds me of the jets and Sanchez running into his linemen.
