The 2012 Draft

All I have to say about the draft is two syllables; DE-FENSE!

Looking at the rankings of the players coming out in the draft tells me that the Pats could do well with their four picks in the first two rounds this year, as well as with their only other picks in round three and four. They could add a decent safety, cornerbacks and D-Linemen, and still add picks if things fall right.

In spite of all the extra picks the Pats have acquired in previous years, they once again rule the AFCE in the draft. They'll pick four players before any of their AFCE opponents pick their third. Yes, they don't have any picks in the last three rounds, but I'm sure they'll end up with some. It's almost like the Pats are playing chess and the rest of the AFCE is playing checkers.
