Cobb was injured on a third-quarter punt. With the Pack blowing out the hapless Titans, Cobb's afternoon is almost certainly through, but his injury did not appear to be severe. Cobb had three catches for 62 yards and a touchdown before departing. Although it's obviously too soon to tell, we'd suspect Cobb has avoided a dreaded high-ankle sprain.

X Rays were negative and an MRI is set for today.
My take is that MM would try to avoid playing him next week one way or another if he is true to form with our medical staff. But we need to get Nelson back on the field and get him some reps like this week in Minnesota.
Maybe MM will see fit to letting Driver get some PT in what maybe his last regular season game as a Packer. He has had some of his greatest career highlights in the Metrodome. Why not let him have just one more.

Speaking of getting back on the field for some reps, what about Woodson?
Here's a prediction: if he doesn't play at Minny he doesn't play again this season --and possibly ever again for Green Bay.
Question: Is the Packer Defensive Backfield actually better with MD Jennings starting instead of Charles Woodson?
Hard to believe this is a legitimate question...but it is.

Woodson can be certainly rusty and probably should not start. But he should still see plenty of action. He may not be able to tackle AP any better than anyone else but Sir Charles has forced enough fumbles in his time to make a play when it may be needed.
And with the big play action to AP Charles is just the player to read Ponder's eyes and make the pick.

I certainly would never say that MD Jennings is a better player than Woodson. That's simply not true. Woodson, even with some diminishment of his skills, is probably still a better athlete... and certainly has an edge in veteran savvy and knack for making big plays.
The question for Capers is how much does he want to tinker with the line up... because the defense, as it is right now, is really starting to jell and play well. On one hand you don't want to rock the boat. On the other hand, you want to find a way to get your veteran playmaker out there. I'm starting to regain my confidence in Capers and believe he's on top of the situation and will make the right decisions.
I could think of much worse problems to have.

we saved our weapons for the vikings,Wilson hopefully is back and woodson back playing the line.If AP gets his wheels turning on the carpet it will make ponder look like joe montana and we will be on our heels. The vikes also got a kicker whom has kicked 9 field goals from 50 plus yards. This game is gonna be tough,if we dont stop AP our defense will be gassed on the carpet.

Reality check time.
Woodson has been picked on for a while now. The Defensive Holding/PI calls against him are, at a minimum, 1 a game if not 3. He simply doesn't have the speed to keep up anymore and uses every vet trick in the book to hang in there downfield.
And that's a fact, Jack.

yeah thats true when he defends out in coverage but he sure sticks his nose in the grinder on run stopping and blitzes,he plays that run with reckless abandon and if you are a true packer fan and watch him you cant argue that.
