Again, Selective hearing, forgive him Oh great one Vince Lombardi for he has no clue how important Fundamentals are to winning each and every game, someday he may realize that EVERY game is won and lost soli on a team perfecting the art of Fundamentals, you would have had a field day with that type of fan, you became a great coach because you instilled fundamentals in your players, my guess is if he played sports he was a bench player and only played because the rules changed in the 90's saying that every player must play at least 1 inning or 2 series in little league baseball and Pop Warner football.

Catching a football is not taught to you when you reach the PRO's IF you have to be taught how to catch a football when you reach the NFL you would never have made the high school team. Perfecting your craft is totally different than learning one. Practicing fundaments is part of the day to day effort to become percise and getting in tune with your new rookie QB. Teaching rookies a system of timing with game time action has nothing to do with learning how to catch a football.
