LaMarr Woodley calls out Ray Rice for abusing 'Terrible Towel'
4:10PM EST November 20. 2012 - Ray Rice should know better than to come into Steeler Nation and disrespect the flag.
After the Baltimore Ravens outlasted the Pittsburgh Steelers 13-10 in a tough game Sunday night, the running back added insult to injury (the Steelers are already [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) by grabbing a loose Terrible Towel from the Heinz Field surface and wearing it on his head as he left the field. It also didn't help that he was singing Styx's "Renegade," the Steelers' unofficial rally song, while he did it.

The actions didn't go ignored by Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to let Rice know that other opponents haven't fared well after messing with the towel.
"Bad idea ray just ask lendale white and tj whosyourmama," Woodley tweeted along with a photo of Rice wearing the towel.
Rice probably won't ask the former Tennessee Titans back or T.J. Houshmandzadeh (who is apparently still getting goofed on about his last name even now that he's out of the league), but Woodley does have a point about the perils of desecrating the towel. It's like the Hawaiian evil taboo from The Brady Bunch.

In 2008, White stomped on the towel after the Titans clinched home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs with a 31-14 win against the Steelers in Nashville, and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] at the start of the 2009 season.
"If it happens to be there, I'm going to stomp all over that, man," the running back told news reporters at the time. "If there's a towel in the stands, I will stomp on it. I don't care who gets mad. ... If they throw a towel at me, I'm going to kick it and stomp all over it. If they don't want their towel stomped on, keep it out my face."
White ran eight times for 28 yards in the 2009 season opener against Pittsburgh. He was out of the league after that season.
In 2005, Cincinnati Bengals wideout Houshmandzadeh wiped his feet with the towel after scoring a touchdown. While he had a number of stellar games against Pittsburgh in the next few years, Houshmandzadeh [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] while playing for the Ravens in a 2010 AFC divisional playoff game against the Steelers. The error sealed Pittsburgh's 31-24 victory.
Rice didn't have a stellar game against the Steelers on Sunday, rushing 14 times for 26 yards, but you can bet the linebackers will be keying on him even more when the teams meet again in Baltimore on Dec. 2.

If you think this game will be easy for the Steelers, with all of their injuries and with Baltimore looming again, you are in for some unanticipated stress.

Remember RLON...it's the Browns. They think the game is only 2 quarters and not 4... If a Brown's player finds a terrible towel. he'll use it to dry his tears or hide his face in shame...LOL
