Rumor has it on Pro Football Talk that the Jets might be interested in Texans' practice squad running back, Jonathan Grimes. Good north-south runner and a beast out of Boise St. Shonn Greene seems to just be a plodder without receiving skills and a dismal yards-per-carry average.
Even the usual Jets' haters think it's good.

Its no Rumor Jets had signs RB, Jonathan Grimes from Texan's Practice Squad and free aqent DB, Chris Carr is schedule to come in later this week for a try out to replace Revis. Hope this Grimes is good real good someone will be let go.

Hope you're right. Didn't hear about it yet. The blog had Carr signing first , with Grimes as a look-see afterwards. Good news if so.
