I could understand that call if the guy had stoped running and Jackson hit him, a lot of times you dont hear the whistle when the action is that close, you have the players right there making noise on the sidelines along with the fans and the adrenaline going and the ball carrier running, its just instinct, and Jackson even tried to grab him to try and keep him from going down. I dont think the regular refs make that call and if they do I think they pick up the flag, its 50-50 we will never know.

I don't think the ref even saw the hit, the ref reacted to Jackson trying to keep the dude from falling.

Thats very possible, it was a boom,boom reaction hit and the refs were surrounded by players on the other side.
