IRVING — Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh was back on the field Wednesday after experiencing concussion-like symptoms Monday.

Sensabaugh, who was limited, hurt his head in the Cowboys’ 24-17 victory over the New York Giants last Wednesday.

Yet while Sensabaugh returned, two other starters, nose tackle Jay Ratliff and center Phil,Costa, were did not participate in practice Wednesday. Ratliff suffered a high-ankle sprain Aug. 25 in the team’s third preseason game against St. Louis. Costa re-injured his back against the Giants.

Also missing was Matt Johnson, who has been sidelined with a right-hamstring injury he suffered the same night Ratliff was hurt.

Meanwhile linebacker DeMarcus Ware (hamstring) was limited and cornerback Mike Jenkins (shoulder), who was inactive during the season opener, participated in a full practice along with tight end Jason Witten (spleen).
