Offensive Line

We only have 7 offensive linemen to start the season with Dietrich and Ron Barclay being our only back ups.. Is this scary or what? Maybe not 50 years ago when guys played beaten and battered. This story about trying to work a deal with Miami maybe the tip of the iceberg. We have to think about protection and running the ball.
Look for TT to do something here in the next 3 days either by trade but more likely the waiver wire. I worry that he might acquire another stiff or two like he did in 2005. Last season I recall us losing 2 O-linemen in one game. Our first 3 games are the 9ers, Bears, and Seahawks. Those teams are notorious for chewing up offensive linemen whether legally or illegally. Could we call Clifton or Tauscher for 6 or 7 games just as a back up? Sherrod won't be ready for a good while.. ARod! Run or your life.
Jerry Kramer, you never had to convince Lombardi how valuable you were.

Relax, Milani. TT knows 7 offensive linemen leaves us vulnerable. He's on it.
