The Seahawks have signed veteran wide receiver B Edwards , adding another experienced pass catcher to the training camp competition for the No. 2 receiver spot.

Edwards signed his deal with the Seahawks on Tuesday morning and he was expected to be on the practice field later in the day.

The 29-year-old Edwards played in nine games last season for San Francisco. clown

Sorry to miss out on late preseason shuffle, I've been up in Renton attending camps and camped out on Lake Washington. Went to first tail-gate of the season last night and am excited about the team we are going to field this season. It is lightyears ahead of the team we started (or ended) the season with last year!!

Edwards looked good in last night's limited looks but has looked even better in the practices this last week where he made that identical catch at least 3 times versus Seattle secondary, which is a step above anything the Titans could field. The best part, those weren't even his best catches! I look forward to seeing more of Owens this next week, I think there is a good shot for both of them to make the team.

Go Seahawks!!

Well, we've got a tougher season at home than on the road (IMO), but not by much! need at least 6-2 at home and if we can get 4-4 on the road, I'll be happy with 10 wins whether or not that gets us into the post season. And I wouldn't feel bad about a 9-7 season. Looking forward to seeing if Pete's gonna set Russell up with the Firsts this week, that Denver D ain't no joke and it is at mile high, but I can't work up the same kinda hate over Manning that I still feel for ElWad!
