The Steelers and wide receiver Antonio Brown have agreed to a five-year contract extension which will keep him with the team through the 2017 season.
"He has played a major role in our success over the past two years and we are thrilled he will be a Steeler for many years to come," general manager Kevin Colbert said in a statement released by the team today.
Brown, who is in his third year, had one year remaining on his contract before the extension. He was named the team's MVP after last season and earned a trip to the Pro Bowl as a kick returner.
