While we disagree on the Avril camp issue I am certainly on board with you regarding Berry. This kid shouldn't even get to camp. If the CBA allows it the Lions got to keep him from stepping into the lockeroom again. Management has got to begin demanding accountability from this bunch. If they let Berry play, Katie bar the door, the inmates will be in total control of the asylum.

Berry was just released today by the Lions.

the leos did the right thing and cut his sorry rear loose. back to a minimum wage job or a life of crime for mr berry. he will not be missed except by QBs in our division.

i am glad to see a little common sense kick in. innocent until proven guilty? well ya, let the courts decide that. you can't have this knuckle head at the lions training camp, exposing other players to the wonders of irresponsible gun ownership.

a marginal player who wasn't drafted should be a model citizen and not act like a prima donna first rounder who just signed a contract that will support him and his 12 children, with 12 different women, through live.

Just got done with an 80 mile, 13 day backpacking trip in the mountains of New Mexico with my 2 oldest boys...I'm in football shape but I think I need to go on the PUP for a few days!

Glad the Lions got rid of Berry.

Seems they are in mid preseason form, a couple of nicks but nothing too serious. I expect Delmas to be good to go by the beginning of the season.

And I expect Delmas will be nursing something by the beginning of the season and continue to get dinged up during the year. At this time next year we'll be talking about how good the pass defense would've been if Delmas had not been playing hurt all year. Bentley better be as good as all the camp hype has been or this backfield will be a mess all season.
