JETS ON TOP FOR A POSITIVE THING Empty JETS ON TOP FOR A POSITIVE THING

People (Opposing fans, NY haters, Jets haters, the media) enjoy nailing the Jets for their mis-deeds. For once the Guys in green came out on top regarding the following:

Of the top four picks in the 2006 draft, only one remains with his original team -- LT D'Brickashaw Ferguson (No. 4). The Jets could've gone a few different ways in that draft, but it's a credit to Tannenbaum that he got a foundation player. Interestingly, the top three picks are now in the AFC East -- DE Mario Williams (Bills), RB Reggie Bush (Dolphins) and QB Vince Young (Bills), who signed Friday.

In mentioning positive things, Dustin Keller noted the intensity of Tony Sparano's detail-oriented, unrelenting coaching style. Keller feels the Jets offense needs that. Proof is when the Dolphins were slipping down the mountain and TS could have thrown in the towel, yet he kept persevering and the Phins did make a good late season showing.

Schotty? Like comparing a drill sergeant to a cub scout leader.
