Draft Pick(s)

Did a post this morning but it never showed so will give it another shot....
Saw where the Skins swapped thieir first rounder with the Rams, moving from #6 to #2 but boy did they give up a ton to make sure they get Griffin. WOW, the Rams get the Skins first rounder this year PLUS the Skins 2nd rounder PLUS the Skins first rounders for both 2013 and 2014. Just sounds like "nuts" to me and just wonder what someone would give us for the #3. Man, we could load up with a prime OT plus secondary help and stock up in future #1's as I don't see a banner year for the Vikes this year...8-8? A years experience plus some biggies next year and I see a contender. Pretty tough to expect rebuilding in a single year but it could prove to shorten the time frame.
Then again, that Blackmon kid just impresses the hell out of me and he will obviously be available at #3 and would love to see him in purple but anything close to what the Rams got would make me jump at that...I think.

I don't know, I think the Vikings might take Kallil to protect Ponder. But I suppose I wouldn't be too surprised if they took Blackmon either.
If they trade the pick they could possibly move down in the draft for more bodies but the thing is this draft has a lot of 3 yr players that only had 1-2 yrs playing time. Its just a crap shoot IMO and I think that if it were me doing the drafting I would go after all seniors instead of juniors. I dont know what the 3rd pick could be worth this year and, I'm sure they have already been in talks with other teams.

Rode....this trade smells an awful lot like the Mike Lynne/Heschel Walker deal to Dallas. Skins gambled and gave up the future for an unproven QB. I think they got trigger happy and could have negotiated a better deal for themselves. I like RG 3 but not at that price tag. Expect the Rams to be at the top again in a few seasons. Love Jeff Fischer....he'll turn that program around in a hurry.

lol, Lets just let'm do what they wanna do ( Skins ). The Skins are taking a huge risk here no doubt, but a risk worth taking IMO. I can't say anything bad about RG3, he looked great in pro work outs.
