2015 RIP Pack
Another year in the books. Great effort for an undermanned team this season. Obviously, the big difference in this finale was that Arizona was a healthier team than us. Not getting a first round bye can make all the difference. Carolina and Arizona had super seasons. After a 6-0 start it was disappointing to finish 10-6. To get a #2 seed we would have had to go 14-2 or beat Arizona in December. The home losses to the NFC North were really costly. Defense had a good year especially being on the field a lot more this season. It just was not meant to be. The deflected TD was an omen that the gods were not on our side despite the Hail Mary. Like the last two seasons we were one play away. Last year it was an onside kick. The year before it was a dropped INT by Hyde. Tonight we get the bad deflection and a near game winning INT by Shields. Home field would have been sweet but very cold. In some ways we played better in warmer climes than if we had played at Lambeau. Next year we may have a lot of new players. The roster is loaded with free agents.

And not to mention a blatant PICK PLAY that the officials ignored .............. and questionable ball placement for Arizona first downs. This could either be the year of the FITZ or the year of the CAM in the NFC. I like both NFC Championship Game coaches. I give the Panthers the edge only due to the home field.
