I still say Rodgers will start. Fatty is beyond help if he can't tumble to the risk/reward pointing to that choice...duck wrote:JnC 27-20 Queens 7-3

If ever I hope I'm wrong, it's now! However, there is zero indication anywhere that Rodgers will play (and I'm sure we all scour the news). Unless it's a dramatic last minute decision, I think we're stuck with Tolzien again.
And really, it makes no sense to NOT play Rodgers on Sunday and then start him against Detroit four days later because how much of a difference can four days make? So my sense is that we will not have Rodgers for Detroit either.
I predict we see him against the Falcons on December 8th... and by then our season will be either flat out dead if we go 0-2 against our divisional opponents, or hanging by a thread if we split 1-1. We would need to run the table then.
There's no way we go 2-0 with Tolzien. No way.

Queens just announced that Ponder will start.
How much did they pay for Freeman?

HD is likely PONDERING on many many subjects including seeing Ponder Bloody, a Bloody Mary on a table or bar top in front of him.........and maybe even the 20 degree weather tomorrow afternoon at the epi-center of professional football........the mecca of the NFL.........the shrine of the NFL. Thought it was always cool of Madden on how he openly revered Lambeau Field............particularly classic were his remarks at the NFC title game on January 12, 1997. That pass from Favre to Levens will not be forgotten. And commenting on those two bare-chested fellas............."not the sharpest knives in the drawer............".
And don't forget.........If you sod it......they will come. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Oh yes Sheila..........you may want to learn about the famous Lambeau Field sodding story off the internet. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
See its not all about Spotted Cow and Cheese Curds and Brats and Beer and Brandy in Titletown. Very romantic place actually [url=http://gizmodo.com/heres-how-lambeau-field-keeps-its-grass-green-in-the-d-1442008641]http://gizmodo.com/heres-how-lambeau-field-keeps-its-grass-green-in-the-d-1442008641

Pretty impressive!
I like how they sold off the old sod and donated the money to charity.
