Add Joe Theismann to the list.

Yea. Why didn't you post what he said in May?

"The league had no choice but to suspend Tom. High-profile individual, egregious, competitive crime."

Because what he said now is more relevant than what he said in May.  But since you wish to go back to May, Mr. Theismann also said this at that time as well:

"Anybody in football will say it doesn't taint his legacy at all. If you bring in the game in question, he played better and they scored more points in the second half of the AFC Championship Game. It was corrected at halftime. So the outcome of that game was not affected.
"But what it brings in question, is not just Tom, but how many quarterbacks and teams actually do something to the footballs? We know they rub them down.
"The National Football League made a huge mistake in their protocol by allowing the footballs to get out of their sight. This would never have happened.
"No question, he's a first ballot Hall of Famer."

Stop being a pussy.....like Irsay.

Well, when Goodell gave Irsay an unprecedented punishment for his assholery I don't remember months of appeals and court cases and unrelenting girlish whining.
He just took it.
Of course he doesn't think he's bigger than the game.

A guy that knew he was wrong and didn't try to weasel his way out of the consequences? Yea. A lot of people think that's the way people should handle themselves.

Give him a medal.  Better yet, raise a banner.

Difference is, he was caught red handed in the act of impaired driving by an officer of the law.  So he plead guilty.  Wow.  Like he had a choice?   LMAO.

Brady was caught at, let's see?  Hmmmm.    Actually, nothing.

Good attempt at comparing the two situations though.
