just run the ball and you have a good chance,also do some pass reciever backfied missdirection and you will up your odds of a win.

These short week games have displayed some sloppy football no matter which teams are scheduled. This is the first time the Packers have to prepare for the Vikes without AP in eons. And that is what is scary. A conventional, balanced attack with Norv Turner as the orchestrator. You can pretty much discard any film from previous years.

Yes, that appears to be the case. He was cleared with a big thumbs up....however, I hope they are not rushing him back too soon. It may sound like I'm being overly cautious but if he is borderline questionable (in any way), I'd prefer he sit rather than risk possible complications to that ankle. We are not winning a Super Bowl this year, so being safe than sorry is the way I'd go here and protect your 'franchise' QB who hopefully is there the next 7-10 yrs.

Hope he lights it up....but I'll be pissed if comes away an aggravated lower leg. (or worse)

There are two mild advantages of Ponder starting tonight. 1) Teddy gets healthy and resumes his role when he's 100%. 2) Ponder has actually  had success in Green Bay. So, even if they (Vikings) lay an egg at Lambeau tonight, the net result is more (+) than (-).

We're playing again later this year in Minny on Nov 23....with another QB not named C Ponder...and will be much much better prepared. Just hope your QB is still standing by then. Like Duck always says,,,it's only 1 of 16 games. Not that much of a big deal at this point.


I am looking forward to next game, but already have my calendar marked for when they come in our house and we can wipe that grin off Rodger's face. If my optimism serves me correct, he'll be doing the double check on the license plate of the Purple Bus that ran him over. Smile Vikings fans, our day will come. Revenge is best served cold.
