Neal signs for 2
Packers re-signed DE/OLB Mike Neal to a two-year contract.
Neal announced the two-year agreement on his Twitter account. Neal was being courted by the Cardinals, among others, but is staying in Green Bay. The soon-to-be 27-year-old can play outside linebacker, defensive end, and rush the passer from the interior in the Packers' 3-4 scheme. He led the team with 37 quarterback hurries last season. Neal will line up opposite Clay Matthews.

Hope the price was a bargain. Neal is a true Capers player.

I'm glad to have Neal back too. We all gave up on him and he was the butt of jokes until last year but he was not only productive but healthy.
I really like his versatility. Since it looks like we're stuck with Capers for another season at least one of his alleged strong points is using players creatively -- and Neal gives him lots of options.

Don't be surprised if MM tries him out at FB.
