Get "by" the bye painlessly today.  No loss at best today.

Well, you would never have thought it at the beginning of the season, but the Jets are in pretty good shape coming out of the bye. Yes, their play has been inconsistent, but when you look at the rest of the league, the Jets are in a position to do some damage. Injuries to key players have turned some of the top teams into mediocre teams. The Jets, on the other hand, haven't had the devastating injuries other teams have had. If they can continue to improve on offense, and limit turnovers and penalties, they can make some noise in the second half of the season.

I was a bit upset that we couldn't even root against the Patriots yesterday as they had their bye too.

But....Chargers lost.
            Titans lost.
        That helps.

I hope Miami loses with the chaotic week they are having.

On the other end....Carolina is a force to be reckoned with.

We are still thin at WR.  Hope the bye rested the Jets.

Just read Tom Brady, during the Pats bye week, missed playing on Sunday, but took his family to the beach.
"I feel like a fish out of water not playing Sunday".

Tom Brady goes to the beach, but loves football.

Tony Romo goes to the beach and it's a distraction.

When Tony Romo wins three Super Bowls it will no longer be a distraction.
