LOL.  Thanks LR.  I knew because of your overall class, you would be here with an unsolicited congrats.  Its really cool.  Championship number 8 for the city since Adam Vinatieri split the uprights against the Rams in '02.  Its incredible.  We feel very fortunate.    

Even before Game 6 I didn't feel my usual nerves, as there was just a feeling that the Cardinals had no chance, and it was just meant to be.  Also very proud of the city for celebrating respectfully.  Out of tens of thousands of people, only 9 arrests for unruly behavior.  Must have been visitors.  LOL.  

Now for a Saturday parade and lot of fun.  I may have to do my once-a-year cigar.

Thank you Sheila.  Great win completing a great post-season.  Beating the Rays.  Beating the Tigers.  Beating the Cardinals.  None of those series had to go the distance either.   Unreal.  Just unreal, especially after what happened in April at the Marathon.  Warm up the Duck Boats and get the "rollling rally" going.  With this being Boston's eighth championship and parade in the last 11 years, they might need to change the oil and rotate the tires on those things.  LOL.

I went to the Yankees parade in 2009 and it was so much fun!  We were right in front of City Hall, front row and got to see all the players close up!  Fun time!


I've been to a few.  Last one was when the Bruins won the Stanley Cup a couple of years ago.  I opted to watch this one on TV.  If my sons were home I would have gone with them, but they are both away this weekend, so I stayed home. 


This last decade has spoiled me, I admit it, so watching on TV was OK with me.  LOL.
