Breakfast at Tiffany's
Posed HD's question on the other board where there are a few Green Bay locals.
So far one response.........I'll post anything new if it comes through. Here 'tis numero uno answer:
1) "Best place in town by far- Pancake place. Stuffed hash Browns. No questions asked. Whitedogblackcat is disgusting. Full of hippies too ."
OK so I Googled Pancake Place .......... the menu appears to be alcohol free but then again the place opens at 5:00 a.m. on Sundays...........http://www.pancake-place.com/index.php/component/restaurantmenumanager/?task=menu_display&mid=2&Itemid=2

Re: Breakfast at Tiffany's
JnC........that "hippie" concept came from somebody on another board. Next time I get to Titletown I am going over there (whitedogblackcat) to scope the place out for potential future indulgences :>)JnC4GB wrote:Wait, there are hippies in Green Bay?

Re: Breakfast at Tiffany's
More information from the other board:
2) Pancake Place used to be much, much, much better than it is. It got new owners several year ago and hasn't been the same.
3) Golden Basket, about a mile and a half from Lambeau on Military Avenue, is a very good place to go (and cheap). Skips Diner is also good I've heard, but never been there myself.
4) Here ya go-

We stay there sometimes. Kinda simple diner style, good Eggs Benedict.
5) I like the breakfasts at the Allouez Cafe but they don't serve bloody Mary's and it on the other side of town.

Yep!
Do you feel there are any actresses in today's time that could measure up to her character?

When I think of her "character" I think of a well-mannered, class act who devoted a large part of her life to helping third-world children in need.
Only actress I can think of that lands close to that mark would be this woman:

Re: Breakfast at Tiffany's
It is hard to find anyone today that fits her character. Before her time I thought Grace Kelly and Myrna Loy filled the bill. Today they will do almost anything for a price.JnC4GB wrote:Good question.~Sheila~ wrote:milani wrote:I loved her, too. Take Audrey Hepburn in her heyday for sure. Her butt doesn't even look natural, how anyone can think that is attractive is beyond me.
