*Brian Waters to play Sunday vs. Chiefs

Waters, who signed last week after missing the 2012 season, most likely will share snaps at right guard with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
Waters won’t start but will be part of a rotation. The Cowboys had a similar rotation at right tackle in the last month of the 2012 season, between [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
During a Friday-morning interview on KRLD-FM, Jones said Waters has been impressive in the weight room since arriving at Valley Ranch.
“Obviously a very strong individual,” Jones said. “He’s one of those guys that is timeless and he steps right out there and has done some amazing things for a guy who hasn’t been on the field last year. And he didn’t have an offseason and training camp, and it’s pretty amazing he’s going to step in and, I think, really contribute in this game. I don’t think he will play the whole game, but he will start to get a few snaps.”
Waters isn't the only Cowboy set to make his debut in Week 2.
Defensive end [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], who has practiced just three times since the start of training camp because of knee surgery, is expected to play.
