I would have loved for the Browns to have picked up the Ohio State R TE Jake Stonburnner right after Green Bay released him, but Green bay was smart enough to pick him back up and add him to their practice squad, Jake is going to be a damn good TE or possible even a 3rd wide out one of these days, the guy has it all, hight, hands, speed, but to be a TE in the league he will have to bulk up some more, great red zone threat.Dmounts wrote:BEREA -- The Cleveland Browns have released seven players, the team announced Friday evening.BEREA, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns on Friday waived the following players:OL Braxston CaveWR Mike EdwardsTE Dan GronkowskiDB Abdul KannehRB Miguel MaysonetDB Kent RichardsonP/K Colton SchmidtThe Browns’ roster is currently at 68 players. under used by Urban in his senior year in my opinion. Only 16 receptions

I agree 100%, Urban dont use the TE frmation that much because of his spread offense, but he really should have used him as the 3rd wideout and even in the 4th wideout in the Te spot to at least block and release, not to mention as a big time weapon in the redzone because Jake really understands how to go up and get the football at the highest point.
