Re: 100 days to go
Wow. Just look at that freakin mother of a camera!! Only The Best for our guys in Foxboro. Bill's always setting the standard isn't he? Others just follow. You know, like the two tight end set, and the hurry-up offense that others around the league are doing their best to try and copy.
One day, Bill was filming the Jets sidelines, but there was nothing worthwhile, or nothing he hadn't seen before from a football standpoint. It was all pretty boring over there. The Jets were basically using signals and plays that were outdated by about five or more years. The Jets were seriously behind the times, and filming them was just a big yawn fest to the state-of-the-art Patriots. It was like filming a junior college team. Well, so as long as he had the camera out, he took some film of the one single thing on the Jets sideline that was even worth training the lens on. Good choice, I'd say. Smart guy, that BB.

Smart enough to make their Super bowl wins tarnished with asterisks. Not easy to do.
Ask these Colts fans.

Why would I ask a Colt fan ANYTHING? Not exactly shining beacons of objectivity that bunch.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Colts quarterback Peyton Manning opened some eyes when he spent time before today's game signing autographs for fans inside Gillette Stadium.

"I've done it every place. I've kind of used this year for a couple things that I've never been able to do -- one of them is to sign a lot of autographs before the game on the road and at home in Indy. It's good, interaction with the fans," Manning said after the Patriots' 31-24 win.
"Arguably being our biggest rival, the fans here couldn't have been nicer. Many of them told me, 'Hope you get back soon' and 'Sorry you're not out there playing today.' Certainly you enjoy hearing that from your own fans, and I know how sincere they are. Then from the biggest rival fans, some of the same fans when I'm playing I'm sure I've heard them through the years making it tough on the opposing quarterback, it's very classy. I was appreciative of it."
