Biggest Packers Play in the Holmgren Era Empty Biggest Packers Play in the Holmgren Era

According to Mike Holmgren...........the "biggest" play in the Holmgren era occurred Jan 8, 1994. Packers were wearing their white away jerseys with the well-known Packers 75-year anniversary patch. No it wasn't the backside bomb from Favre to Sharpe with 1:04 remaining in the 4th quarter (with Clayton wide open on the left). It was...........the famous 101-yard George Teague #31 INT. How's that for some great history? Am pretty sure Favre went 9 for 11 after the Teague INT. A hot Brett Favre was and always will be the best ever.

Notable remembrances (a 28-24 win): Wide receivers were Clayton, Sharpe and Brooks. Thompson and Edgar Bennett at RB. LBs.....Paup, Holland, Tony Bennett, and Simmons. Matt Brock, Reggie White, Jurkovic and Bill Maas up front. Butler, Teague, Roland Mitchell #47, and Buckley in the defensive backfield. Corey Harris running back kickoffs and Robert Brooks running back punts (got that McD??). Ken Ruettgers #75 at Left Tackle..........Left Guard was #74 Doug Widell, Right Guard Harry Galbreath #76, Right Tackle Joe Sims #68, BagODonuts at Center #52. Ed "Toolbox/Tank" West at TE. Good 'ole Tootie Robbins in street clothes. Other players......Campen, Prior, Hauck, Noble, John Stephens, Chmura, Doug Evans, Koonce, Jacke, Brunnell, Detmer, Don Davey, Dexter McNabb #44, (Gilbert Brown wore #71), . This was a very exciting time for all Packers fans throughout the world.
