Ringo has a Weber grill that does a better job of getting smokin hot. I suggest you try that idea first.

I would have preferred a bye week but, on the other hand, the formula for the 2010 Super Bowl called for a series of games in which the Pack had its back to the wall. They seem to perform better under those circumstances.
In contrast, the Packers laid a major egg with the #1 seed and first round bye in 2011.

Interesting. I see the issue as being in 2010, the defense covered, tackled, and pressured people. In 2011, they stood around with their dicks in their hands while QBs had all fucking day to find whoever the confused secondary didn't get around to covering.
2012 is looking a lot more like 2011 based on that criteria than it is 2010.

Actually, going into the Minnesota game, our D had elevated to a "Top 10" level. I think against the Vikes, everyone was so understandably preoccupied with AP, that they loosened up their coverage a bit.
It will be interesting... not just interesting, but critical... to see what Capers does next week.

anyone catch the dallas game and see how rg3 totally took demarcus ware out of the game with the qb run option, dallas d looked alot like ours today.
Now,who wants to play the redskins and defense that, pack would get toasted,no super analaysis needed,we know who we are and what the d is not capable of.

Have a great New Year's Eve and Day tomorrow. I am going down the Orange Bowl looking for some Spotted Foxes and a HUSKIES win.

I'm curious- what is this "top 10" based on? Because whatever that was, it wasn't enough to make this unit a true "top 10" defense.
As far as the missed bye is concerned, I think that is absolutely deadly to us. I thought this team had a chance to get to the Super Bowl if all they had to do was win a home game then go to Atlanta to play those friggin' frauds. Because of our asshole coaching staff and Tramon Williams having turned into Antonio Cromartie overnight, they'll be playing San Francisco (if they're lucky) on the road after coming off of 2 straight fun-filled weekends of watching the 28 on AD's back. I'm still fucking steamed at how they prepared and how they played in a game of that magnitude.

Try not to get lost for long down there and bring us back some barbed wire. If you do get delayed you can always stumble and stop in Atlanta on the way back. There is still a very remote chance we could play there and you won't have to make a return trip.

The last time we had to play the Vikings in a 1st round playoff game they came into Lambeau and flattened us. I hope we have a little more payback in us this time.

Yeah. I'm right pissed about that shit I saw yesterday. Like I said in another post, I'm getting a strong sense that Rodgers' prime is being wasted and yesterday was an example of that.

The Packers are 31-7 in their last 38 games.
31-7
And 15-1 in division play.
MB, I'm beginning to think you'd get pissed at Scarlett Johansson because when she went doodie it smelled like poopie.
