You couldnt have just threw the ball out of bounds, you would rather take a 4 yard loss with over 7 minutes left, I know you are a rookie but common, you arent that green anymore, not in game 12, that is a rookie move in games 1-5.

It looked at least to me that Weeden thought there was going to be some kind of penalty pn the play with his reaction when he got up. You are correct though, he should have thrown it away regardless.
