Well, you nailed this prediction, Milani... and point #1 was dead on. It was indeed a letdown game and, as I said before, I'm okay with that. We got the W and that's all that matters. Teams can only get "up" for so many games during the regular season. We already burned one emotional card with Houston. The divisional games are by far the most important... and that's where I want the Packers to be focussed. We win the divisional games and it's all good.

Not coincidentally, McCarthy's W/L record reflects that philosophy. In his 6 years with the Pack, he's 27-9 in the NFC North. In contrast, he's 15-12 against the AFC. Fattie knows which side his bread is buttered on.
