It's really hard to lead with anything else this morning. So let's just get this going.

There are a ton of differing opinions on the controversial catch from Monday night. Peruse Twitter and you'll see multiple angles showing multiple "truths." The fact is, though, this is just the straw breaking the camel's back.

It's not as if the regular officials don't blow calls, as wisely pointed out in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] by Danny O'Neil. They even blow calls that determine games and playoff seedings.

However, those are odd moments, sporadic and spread out. This is consistent. How many games this week had unbelievably poor calls? Think the extra timeout for the Niners or the mess at the end of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]-[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] game.

Whether you think it's a catch or not and whether you think the Packers were jobbed or not, the one thing we should be able to agree on is that the mayhem in these games is more consistent and frequent than what we see with the regular referees.

Something has to give, and if you think it's just bitter Packers, Patriots or Vikings fans complaining (which I am none of), just wait until it happens to your team.

With that, I cannot tell you how nice it is to move onto the rest of the NFC North news.
