Matt Flynn has signed with the Packers
According to multiple reports, the Green Bay Packers have signed Matt Flynn after working out with the team on Monday.
No word yet on if he or Scott Tolzien will start for the Packers on Sunday against the Giants.

Heard it on NFL Network this morning. Good move. The sooner we can get him into it the better we have a chance to win a game.~Sheila~ wrote:According to multiple reports, the Green Bay Packers have signed Matt Flynn after working out with the team on Monday.

The last time he was on the field for us we almost scored 50 points. Our secondary was not too unlike the one we have now.

He looked terrible with the Raiders. From what I've heard in my sports bar (I believe it was from Bob McGinn's column), the issue with Flynn is his work ethic. Once he got his big payday, he checked out.
Regardless, I think the kid looked pretty good last week and would like to see how he does with another week under his belt.
If Rodgers doesn't come back soon, this season is slipping away in a manner that is very painful to watch.

I think HD, JnC and MB already have dibs on that. They've retreated from the bar to a back table and are playing "spin the pickle."throttleplate wrote:flynn will be on the bench with that magnum dildo stuffed up his ass.

All Flynn needs is a little TLC in a place where he was once loved.throttleplate wrote:flynn will be on the bench with that magnum dildo stuffed up his ass.
Now Ed Reed became available. Are those ugly safeties enough to precipitate a short term move just to get an old timer that at least can read the play?

Gotta believe Ed Reed can read offenses and tackle as well as what we have out there right now (Burnett and Jennings).milani wrote:All Flynn needs is a little TLC in a place where he was once loved.throttleplate wrote:flynn will be on the bench with that magnum dildo stuffed up his ass.

He could not only do that but he could provide some leadership. On the other hand, his price tag would be prohibitive, and he's pretty much used up.RingoCStarrQB wrote:Gotta believe Ed Reed can read offenses and tackle as well as what we have out there right now (Burnett and Jennings).milani wrote:All Flynn needs is a little TLC in a place where he was once loved.throttleplate wrote:flynn will be on the bench with that magnum dildo stuffed up his ass.

I don't have any answers for our D, except for dumping Capers. I do know that TT will never sign a washed up old guy, no matter how good he used to be. For every late career Tony Gonzales who still has something left, there are a dozen Randy Moss's who just take up space on the roster.
