Sorry HD,but no way do we drop 30 on this Browns D in the shape we're in.

I wouldn't even be surprised to see an upset. Browns have QB issues, but otherwise have been playing good ball. Their D is #1 in the NFL in Yards per catch allowed (We're 32nd BTW),
they've only given up only 6 TDs in 6 games (We've given up 11 in 5 games),
Avg QB rating of QBs facing them is 6th lowest in the NFL at 74.1 (ours is 31st/108.2),
and finally,
their D has given up only 15 plays of over 20 yards in 6 games and zero, that's right ZERO plays of over 40 yards (the only team in the NFL who hasn't). In 5 games we've allowed 28 plays over 20 or more yards and 5 plays over 40 yards.
"It's 4th and 21 for the Ravens ...and rookie WR Doss hits the Packers (who cut him in camp) for SIXTY-FUCKING-THREE YARDS!!!" Shocked

Only way we get anywhere near 30 is if they completely shit their pants and give up a pick 6 and Hyde takes a punt return to the house or something. No, I take it back. Even if those two things do happen, we still don't hit 30 points. Not this Sunday.

Remember friends, Milani will be sitting in Ringo's seats this week. And history shows that 3 of the last 5 attended by yours truly have resulted in defeat. It is ironic that whenever I see the Packers almost half the team is out with injuries.
So make your pick judiciously.    GO  ACME!!!!!!

Didn't you go watch the Packers lose to the Chiefs in 2011 after a 13-0 run?  (19-0 counting going back to 2010.)

Damn Milani, that's some serious negative mojo you've got working.  Hopefully all that Prancercise will work out the kinks.

Interesting.....only 2 of you so far think the Pack will cover the 11pt spread and 2 of you think it will be a push...3 don't think they will. Obviously overwhelming feeling on a blowout....you see Milani, it does matter to people who choose to wager on events such as this.

You guys are pretty banged up but you are at home....tough call. The Browns are no speed bump anymore, they can play with anybody, but very hard to bet against the Pack at home. I need more fine tuning before I call it. Actually, right now it looks like a 'keep away' type game from my standpoint.

I don't bet on many games anymore but when I did, I shied away from games with double-digit spreads.  When you get a (perceived) disparity in the quality of the teams like that, the underdog can get reckless, making everything more unpredictable.

In general with bigger spreads, I tend to lean towards the underdog and take the points.  Often the favorite will get ahead, coast, and give up the points you need in garbage time.  Plus, the value of a turnover is maximized when you're getting 10+ points anyway.

Let us know if you do end up betting on this game!

11 point spread is ridiculous.

Besides, this is THE PACKERS. If they were healthy and up by 20 in the 4th quarter the Browns would STILL end up covering.

When we were decimated 3 years ago I saw Miami come in and beat us in OT with Chad Henne, Ricky Williams, Coach Sporano who got canned next year.
This game will be a knock down fight to the finish.

31 - 13 Pack.   18 point differential.  Throttle nailed it........with HD close behind (if differential is the pass/fail criteria).  Otherwise HD wins again.    I say they share it and let us all know how it was..........  sunny

Whew!  That was close...  Thinking Ben might continue his streak, this week's prize was to be a *I blew my first baboon starter kit*--but fortunately, under emergency petition, an 11th hour change was just approved moments ago by the Board and something much more tasty was put on the menu for that lucky winner.    Laughing
