Strange world
If the season ended today the Colts would go to Denver for a wild card game.
They have more wins so far than I'd hoped for for the whole season.
Nice.

Re: Strange world
The analysts predicted RG III would have a better rookie season than Luck based solely on their respective core teams, not each other. The Colts, as it turned out; are giving him support on both sides of the ball.
I'd take either.

At the beginning of the year I would have agreed with that. Now I'd take Luck over RG III.
The guy looks like he's been in the league for 3 or 4 years.
I can't wait for this weekends game. NE's pass defense is execrable. Worse than the Colts.
Has there ever been 1000 combined passing yards in a game?

1000 on the nose last season.
Damn you Matt Stafford and Matt Flynn

In the early MNF games, The Jets played the Colts.
Namath and Unitas. I think there were a combined 900 passing yds.

I had a really vague memory of this so I looked it up.
872 in 1972 which might not sound all that impressive today, but it would be the equivalent of 1362 today.
Namaths 496 would be the same as somebody throwing for 775.
It must have been wild.

This must be after the playoff game they won. The little git looks like he might actually crack a smile.
This here is my favourite BP-BB picture;

BB looks like he won a contest at his day camp to meet BP and LT on a trip.

Re: Strange world
George, I knew there were a ton of passing yards between the two that day. I remembered Namath had in the high 400s and thought Unitas surpassed 400.
872 as you said is super high combined.
