Pressure Pressure Pressure
There was one pretty foolproof way to limit the Pittsburgh Steelers success on offense last season: apply unrelenting pressure to Ben Roethlisberger.
The Steelers posted a 3-6 record in 2013 when their quarterback was sacked three times or more.
The team who dropped Big Ben to the floor the most? The Buffalo Bills sacked Roethlisberger four times and of course the unit was led by Mike Pettine

Ben rarely gets sacked when running the no-huddle.

Actually, I've seen his stats and they were pretty good against the best corner in the league.

Re: Pressure Pressure Pressure
Haden burnt for a TD
Gilbert getting beat all over the field
Ben getting all day to throw
Benjamin taking the kickoffs 9 yrds deep in the endzone, barely getting over the 10
Browns are awful
24-3 in the 2nd

I wonder how bad the Browns are. As of rt now they're making the Steelers look like champions.captnbrojangles wrote:Haden burnt for a TD

we escaped with our asses today! If the Browns knew how to win and not play 'not to lose" we would have lost that game! Maybe Task and Mummy are on to something regarding Tomlin... we were not ready in the 2nd halfAdmin wrote:I wonder how bad the Browns are. Yes they were, and then came the 2nd half, they played lights out football for 28+ minutes, they found out what its going to take to win and no Browns fan should hang their head at what that team did in the 2nd half on both sides of the line. Again, It was a Great Game!!!

Re: Pressure Pressure Pressure
You're dumber than Dmounts.. Antonio Brown has owned Haden ever since they started facing each other. OWNED! Pettine better give Haden some help in the rematch later this season. Joe Haden is so overrated.wyckedheart8 wrote:Antonio Brown cant handle Haden.

Re: Pressure Pressure Pressure
Wyckedfart is way out in left field like normal. Antonio Brown makes Joe Haden look foolish on a regular basis. He always burns him for a long touchdown. Every game. Joe Haden is overrated.Admin wrote:After watching the 1st half... I decided to be nice an amend your original post so you don't appear stupid.wyckedheart8 wrote:Haden cant handle Antonio Brown.

Re: Pressure Pressure Pressure
I know I was DEEPLY concerned. The game was about 2 distinctly different half's. Had Cleveland been able to move the ball their last drive... It would have been a bad evening in Steeler Nation. The Browns looked absolutely horrible the first half. Steelers looked like championship team... then it all turned around. As far as those 2 assclowns.... do they ever have anything relevant to say? ya know a broken clock is right at least twice a day.captnbrojangles wrote:we escaped with our asses today! Re: Pressure Pressure Pressure
The real mismatch was on the other side... Gilbert got burnt multiple times. He is a long way from a shutdown corner...... LONG way.Steely wrote:Wyckedfart is way out in left field like normal. It was an easy win all the way. Young defense wasn't ready yet for the no huddle offense or this game would have been over at the half. Then I stratched my head as to why the Steelers offense stopped running the no huddle the second half until they really need the points and then they were back running it again and then started moving the ball again. Hm.

Not at all. This was more to do with youth than anything else.
