Whew. You had me going for a minute there.
At first I was like, "Did the White Sox sponsor a "Klan Appreciation Day", and let them all in for half price?"

What gave it away for me was I can see their faces. The Klan costumes cover the whole face with only little holes cut out for the eyes. Plus, Chicago? Come on. Chicago is a hip place. Good hockey team. They dye the river green every March. They invented deep dish pizza. They gave us Bruins fans Phil Esposito. The list goes on.

I think "Why would I want to go to that?". If that's what they want to do, God bless 'em.
I'm not going to show up and screw it up for them. I'm also not going to start a campaign on social media, create a hashtag, try to get them fired from their jobs or have their property seized or their businesses taken away from them. Let them have their picnic.
Why?

Nice. I heard this during all the recent soccer nonsense.
Kenneth Clarke: Isn't it terrible about losing to the Germans at our national sport, Prime Minister?
Margaret Thatcher: I shouldn't worry too much - we've beaten them twice this century at theirs.

Old Maggie never had much use for the Germans, did she?

He'll do something after he's done flying around the country to fundraisers on our dime. After his vacation. If he's not golfing. After he's given his strategy of freezing the oligarchs christmas club accounts a chance to work. As long as it's not on a weekend.
So.......yea. Putin's worried.

He should be if he has half a brain.
Believe in 'merica. Believe in our brilliantly conceived system of checks and balances that prevent the abuse of power by anyone, including the Executive. Believe in our three co-equal branches of government. When we take a stand on an international crisis, we all take it together as one.
U. S. A. U.S.A. U.S.A.
Just yesterday a woman from India waited on me at Staples. I complained to her how they charge money for every little thing in this country. She looked at me and said, "Its worse everywhere else, and especially in India where I come from. This country is the best place to live. I love living here." I just nodded my approval, smiled, and walked away.
"My fellow Americans....[pause].......I accept your nomination for the office of President of the United States. Thank you." [Springsteen plays in the background].
