The Jets lost a great fan, the world lost a great man.
Rocky Sweeney, a lifetime Jets fan lost his battle to cancer yesterday.  
May he rest in peace.

Yeah, I know. I remember him. I think he said he had pancreatic cancer. That's a bad cancer (not that any of them are good), so he did well staying alive this long.

We became closer on FaceBook.  He was always optimistic and fought hard until the end.  He went for treatments every other week at Sloan-Kettering.  Wonderfully supportive wife.  He left as a Jet!

Rocky was a really good man. We've all lost a special person with his passing. He fought the good fight against cancer and never gave up. Godspeed Rock, you will be missed.
