Ok, this is a football board but its still a sports board, the Tribe out right released closer Chris Perez, just releasing him outright was BS on the Tribes part, especially when so many teams want a closer like Perez, they could have signed him and then got something in return for him, this is just one of many reasons Tribe fans dont go out to the park, the Tribe just gives away talent that still has a lot in the tank, Perez is a guy that will go to another team and save at least 35-40 games, typical Tribe move to just give away a player in his prime.

Well, Mo is gone from the Yankees, the best closer ever!  So maybe they'll pick up Perez!  Smile

bout 20 games too late IMHO. Before his collapse and NO MAS to Francona he was worth a least something.

He will be picked up, closers like Perez are few and far between,, Tribe fked up by letting him go.
