Seaside Park, NJ
The boardwalk in Seaside Park is engulfed in a 6-alarm fire. At least 20 businesses/buildings are on fire. This area was still recovering from Hurricane Sandy. It's so sad to see this happening.

All that stuff can be replaced. Thank God that there were no lives lost.~Sheila~ wrote:The boardwalk in Seaside Park is engulfed in a 6-alarm fire. At least 20 businesses/buildings are on fire. This area was still recovering from Hurricane Sandy. It's so sad to see this happening.

Darn shame.
I'm from South Jersey, but that area up north can't seem to catch a break. Hope they'll be okay & re-build.

I hope so too. So sad for all to watch their businesses burn to the ground.

Next weekend I'm going to be getting together with a buddy of mine who lives a quarter of a mile from there. I'll get some first hand accounts.

Being that close to the fire, I'm sure he'll have a story or two. Have a fun time!

I went down to see the boardwalk its really not as bad I thought it would be that boardwalk is so big. They will rebuild and in time it will be better then it ever was.

Oh good. It's so hard to judge when just looking at the pictures on the news.
