This guy gets it.
New NE Safety, Adrian Wilson on joining the Pats after 12 years - his entire career - in Zona:
"Whenever Coach Belichick calls, you answer. That's not a call you send
to voicemail. Obviously being able to be competitive every year, and
being able to not only play for the playoffs and the division
championship, but also have a chance to go to the Super Bowl.
Ultimately, at the end of the day, I'm going to come in and compete with
everybody else and see what my role is on the team. I have no problem
with that. Coach Belichick was very up front with me. I have nothing but
total respect for him and what that organization has done throughout
the years. New England was definitely my first choice. I don’t know what
all the reports were saying that I wanted to stay out West, but that
wasn’t true. It wasn’t a hard sell, but at the same time, talking to
Coach Belichick and kind of getting an understanding of what he wanted
from me, I just felt like it was the right fit."
Sweet. Already sounds like a Patriot. You listening Suggs? Terellllllll? Helloooooo? You still mad Bro?

During BB's tenure there have been literally hundreds who have passed through the Patriots' turnstyle.
At the end of the day three remain as the factor.
Bill Belichick
Tom Brady
Mo Lewis

He sure does "get it". He could very easily said something like, "I'm a 34 year old defensive back who's skills have eroded to the point that the Cardinals were taking me off the field on passing downs. If I had any self respect I'd be thinking about hanging it up, not changing teams, but I need the money, the Pats were the first team to offer me anything more than vet min, so here we are."
He didn't say that though. He "gets it". He, much like Ed Reed, said exactly what was expected of him in the situation.
Adrian Wilson and Ed Reed.
NOT mouthy punks.

Yup. BOTH real professionals, and ones with credibility...... unlike their complete opposites, those mouthy punks Suggs and Cromartie.
