"bidding war" for free agent OLB Paul Kruger.
The Baltimore Sun reports the Colts and Browns will soon engage in a "bidding
war" for free agent OLB Paul Kruger.
The Browns have been "particularly aggressive" on both Kruger
and Cliff Avril since Saturday morning's negotiating window opened. One source
predicted Kruger will command $10 million to $12 million per year. Both
Cleveland and Indianapolis are flush with cap space and need pass-rush help.
It's conceivable that the Kruger will go to the Colts and Avril to the Browns,
or vice versa.

Both are damn good players but I think Kruger is the better player ( right now) and it would be nice to take him away from Baltiwhore ( Baltimore has a damn good defense and Ray Lewis made everyone around him a better player, will his play follow him to Cleveland?) , on the other hand Cliff Avril is no slouch ( Avril MADE everyone around him better) and he is a year or two younger then Kruger, Avril hasnt played the OLB spot full time since leaving Iowa ( I dont think that will bother him at all) even though he only played that position his junior and senior year, either way it is a win,win for the Browns, both players are intense and would add a big spark to that young Defense.Dmounts wrote:The Baltimore Sun reports the Colts and Browns will soon engage in a "bidding
